As we celebrate the holidays, Theta Xi’s staff and dozens of volunteer alumni are busy working to prepare for the 2010 Presidents and Rising Stars Academies to be held from January 15-18.  So far, it looks like attendance will exceed the record levels set last year.  This speaks volumes to the quality of these two educational and leadership programs that are benchmarks of Theta Xi Foundation’s value to our undergraduate brothers across the country.

While alumni leaders contribute their time and resources to serve as presenters and facilitators, the Foundation Trustees are challenged with the responsibility to provide the funds to support the attendance of over 100 undergraduate elected and future leaders.  This year that challenge is especially critical as we all reexamine our charitable giving priorities. 

But this is a one-time opportunity for many of our undergraduate brothers . . . their college years cannot be put on hold to wait for better times.  Theta Xi Foundation’s Trustees recognize this and are therefore committed to providing this generation of brothers with the highest quality sessions and activities to enhance their leadership skills and appreciation for the principles and polices that have defined Theta Xi’s values for generations past and yet to come.

This issue of The Foundation Forum will illustrate our success and provide you with opportunities to continue or initiate for the first time your active support to help in . . .  “Strengthening Theta Xi Today  . . . Building Tomorrow’s Leaders”.
