Scholarship Applications
    Now Available   

    Theta Xi Foundation is pleased to announce

    that scholarship applications are now available

    for the Rudd Scholarship which is open to all

    undergraduate members.  In addition,

    scholarships restricted to a particular chapters include Gamma, Iota, Omicron,

    Sigma, Alpha Iota and Alpha Sigma.

    The deadline for submitting all scholarship applications is April 15, 2010.

    Academy Weekend!

    Here’s what attendees are saying about the

    value of the recent Presidents and Rising

    Once again this year, thanks to the hard work and contribution of nearly 30

    alumni and past-president peer facilitators, the 12th annual Presidents Academy,

    and the 6th annual Rising Stars Academy, were a great success.  42 Presidents

    and 83 Rising Stars gathered for four amazing days of fun, learning, interaction,

    play and bonding.

    These two Academies, made possible by generous donations of alumni gifts to the

    Theta Xi Foundation, remain the cornerstone programs of the Leadership

    Initiative.

Beta Alpha Brother

 

    President of GA Tech SGA!

    Congratulations to Brother Corey T.
    Boone, Beta Alpha 748, who is currently
    serving as President of the Georgia Tech
    Student Government Association.

    Brother Boone, pictured in the center,
    worked with SGA to coordinate the 2011
    GT Student Day at the Capitol.  The
    event provided the opportunity for nearly
    50 Tech students to thank state legislators for their commitment to higher
    education, learn more about the workings of the state government and be
    honored by the General Assembly for their involvement.

Nominations Committee Announces Slate Of Candidates For Next Grand Lodge

 

    In accordance with the Theta Xi National Constitution,

    the Theta Xi Committee on Nominations presented its

    report to the 2011 Presidents and Rising Stars

    Academies, including the names of its nominees for the

    2011-14 Grand Lodge.

What's Your Chapter Doing

 

    For Founders Day?

 

 

    It’s time to confirm your plans for Founders Day

    and annual 6294 celebrations.  Alumni need

    advance notice of the date and type of function

    in order to make plans to attend.

    We will once again be sending out a

    "Founders Day Events" email to all active

    brothers and alumni listing events across the

    country.  Since we will be sending this email by

    the end of March, the deadline to submit

    information to be included is March 15th.  You

    can see a sample of the information we'll be

    sending to alumni on our Sample Listing Page.

    Once you're ready to let us know what you're

    planning, use the Online Submission Form available by clicking here.

    Also, an up-to-date list of alumni with preferred mailing addresses, email

    addresses and telephone numbers is available on request from Fraternity

ATTN: Alumni and Housing Corporation Officers!

   Two pieces of quick information you may want to be aware of... 

 

  

   First...  There is a Greek Housing Conference sponsored by the Laurus Group

    coming up on March 12th at Georgia Tech University.  The conference, which is in

    its 3rd year, is a one-stop one-day event highlighting key aspects of fraternity

    house management and alumni involvement.  Included will be a broad range of

    speakers who have hands-on relevant experience in their respective fields.  You

   Also...  Theta Xi's Property Insurance Program will renew April 1, 2011.  Alumni

    Associations/House Corporations that participate in the program will be

    receiving renewal information via email by March 10, 2011.  Any alumni group

    that's interested in obtaining a quote for coverage can contact Fraternity
