Tom Eagan CelebratesBeta Beta Chapter alumni (San Jose State) surprised their former faculty advisor, Thomas Eagan, Beta Beta 44, with a birthday party on his 100th birthday. Brother Eagan received a framed resolution from the Grand Lodge, congratulatory greetings from the President of the United States and the Governor of California, and an azure blue jacket with an emblazoned Theta Xi crest.
On Saturday, January 17, 2009 forty guests were in attendance including Edie, Tom's wife for 72 years, his immediate family, fraternity brothers, colleagues and former students from the Music Department of San Jose State University. Tom taught music
for 44 years, the longest of any teacher at San Jose State University.
