His Dream To Help OthersDustin M. Hipp, Beta Alpha 688, Georgia Tech ‘08, is pursuing his life-long dream of becoming a physician. After graduating from Georgia Tech with highest honors and his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Dustin is attending the Vanderbilt School of Medicine in Nashville, TN.
"I've always been interested in the interface between biological systems and chemical processes. To combine research in this area with practical applications in serving the most poverty-stricken areas of the world like Haiti and Africa--What a calling!"
Dustin is considering specializing in Infectious Diseases and earning his Masters in Public Health. He says, "Achieving this goal was largely a result of the support I received at Georgia Tech from my brothers in Theta Xi."
